On the occasion of the final round of Formula 1 which will take place in Abu Dhabi this weekend, McLaren presented its new livery with its sponsor Vuse as part of its “Driven By Change” campaign. Mainly orange as usual, the special feature is on the sides with a mixture of blue and a new pattern. It is Rabab Tantawy who is at the origin of this creation. For the first time, a female artist from the Middle East has designed a livery for a Formula 1 team.
“Rabab’s art is inspiring, and we are proud to take his creation to the race this weekend, comments Claire Cronin, marketing director of the British team. We are excited to bring the worlds of art and motorsport together in a revolutionary way, by featuring Rabab Tantawy’s artwork on our race cars at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.”
