Si McLaren was innovative during the installation of the F-duct, the Woking team was not a leader in the installation of low exhausts, which blow towards the exit of the diffuser and allow to gain in downforce at a speed given. Having adapted this system to its MP4-25 this Friday, McLaren then decided to do without it for the rest of the weekend, according to autosport. The hoped-for gain is not there and McLaren will therefore do without these low exhausts, which seem to work wonders on the Red Bull. During the last Grand Prix, in Valencia, Renault, Ferrari et Mercedes adapted this system.
