Mclaren racing announced a multi-year partnership with the British American Tobacco company. The astonishing announcement specifies that the nature of the contract is based solely on “reduction of production risks” as well as on top “innovation and technology”.
Concretely, BAT seeks to refresh its image through the “A better tomorrow” project which should therefore be displayed on the F1 of Woking, the law banning cigarette advertisements. It is a strategy similar to that developed by Marlboro with the Team Ferrari.
