As he takes part in the first test session of the year with his new team Williams, Rubens Barrichello admitted to having been in contact with McLaren-Mercedes before the signing of Jenson Button.
“They called me several times when they realized that they couldn't sign Räikkönen,” admitted the Brazilian in the Valencia paddock.
