McLaren carried out two days of testing at Paul-Ricard (Var) with Pirelli prototype tires for the 2021 season. Carlos Sainz Jr took the wheel this Thursday, completing only 39 laps due to poor conditions on the Var track, but his teammate Lando Norris was able to make progress on the development of 18-inch tires by ending its day of testing with 106 loops on the clock.
