This is the first little disappointment of the year for Kevin Magnussen. Author of a very successful start to the season with the surprising team Haas, the Dane failed to reach Q2 this Saturday during qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. The former pilotEndurance will start in 17th place in the Grand Prix, escorted by the drivers Aston Martin et Williams.
Alexander albon (Williams) in fact failed in 16th position, only 31 thousandths behind the last qualifier for Q2, the German Mick Schumacher (Haas). Q1 was mainly marked by an accident between the two Canadians on the grid. Two minutes from the end of Q1, Lance Stroll (Aston Martin) hit his compatriot Nicholas Latifi (Williams) who was overtaking him, even though neither was on a flying lap.
