Max Mosley, former president of the FIA replaced by Jean Todt, announced on the BBC Radio 5 Live that he did not wish to return F1 despite requests from Bernie Ecclestone. “ I think my F1 career is over and I've moved on since. The rumors about my return are just rumors. I'm vaguely following (the season) at a distance. I am now just an ordinary spectator watching this on television. But it is no longer my responsibility. »
The former president of the FIA appreciated the requests but does not intend to respond favorably. “ I appreciated the offer to come back, but the truth is that it would not be the right thing to do. I strongly supported Jean (Todt) and I think he will do a good job. He has the opportunity to run things his way, which is definitely different from mine and maybe better. »
