Nicholas latifi joined Williams as a reserve driver after having held this position this year with Racing Point Force India. The 23-year-old Canadian will have several opportunities to drive the FW42 since he will take part in no less than 6 test sessions, as well as 2 test sessions during the season, one during the winter tests in Barcelona (Spain) and 2 others as part of the Pirelli tests. His program will be completed by sessions on the simulator.
The 2019 season should be busy for Nicholas Latifi as he is also strongly expected to stay with Dams in order to play a 3rd year in F2.
