Lando Norris was voted Driver of the Day by the public at the French GP. The pilot McLaren saved the point of 10th place after encountering mechanical problems on his MCL34, probably linked to hydraulics. The Briton was previously able to finish in 7th place. This is the first time the rookie has received this honor.
