Following the numerous outings last season? including those of Jaime Alguersuari, Sébastien Buemi, Heikki Kovailainen and Mark Webber? the Suzuka layout was modified at the Degner bend.
The FIA announced the creation of an “inverted sidewalk” of 25 millimeters to replace the old curb and a part of green cement at the exit of the first part of Degner.
Spoon also saw its exterior sidewalk modified with more artificial grass.
