According to several media, Paddy Lowe is on his way to Williams Racing in 2017. The technical director of Mercedes F1 who participated in the success of the star team, sees his contract end at the end of the year and could head to the Grove team which also works with the Power Unit of the German manufacturer. However, the British engineer would not necessarily replace Pat Symonds and could occupy another position. The name of James Allison, former technical director of the Team Ferrari, is already mentioned to replace him at Mercedes.
