Michael Schumacher will not be at the European Grand Prix in Valencia, and for Olivier Panis, this choice is anything but a surprise. However, on RMC, the former pilot of Formula 1 revealed that the seven-time world champion showed courage in this decision: “ He did not want to take on the challenge for very clear reasons. He had said from the beginning that he had been in a motorcycle accident and that his neck was very sore. It?s courageous to have come back but it?s also courageous, towards the team Ferrari, to say that he will not be ready for Valencia due to his physical problems. He?s a real competitor, a real champion and I think there are real reasons. It's a shame because it would have been a great image for F1 and a great challenge for him. You must respect your choice, especially if it is medical. Reason took over. »
