Angelo Sticchi Damiani, president of CSAI, the Italian motorsport federation, told the Reuters news agency that the FIA World Council decided not to impose any further sanctions on Ferrari, in the Hockenheim affair.
Ferrari's argument, which consisted of saying that if Felipe Massa let Fernando Alonso it was only of his own free will, was therefore deemed admissible by the FIA.
Ferrari was fined $100 for this maneuver.
