Netherlands – Q2: No French in Q3
The French will not be at the start of Q3 in the Netherlands. While they were contending for a place in the Top 10, Pierre Gasly et Esteban Ocon did not manage to do better than 11th and 12th, thus losing all hope of progressing to the final part of qualifying. The two Tricolores are joined by Fernando Alonso, Guanyu-Zhou and Alex Albon.
Author of the best time in Q1, Max Verstappen was content with 3rd place in Q2 even though he only made one attempt and worn tires unlike Carlos Sainz who finished with the best mark. Great performances from Lance stroll, Mick Schumacher et Yuki tsunoda who managed to advance to Q3.
