Sergio Perez et Kamui Kobayashi were disqualified from the grand prix because of a car deemed non-compliant. The rear wing of their Sauber C30 would be the cause. The two drivers from the Swiss team finished in 7th and 8th position respectively. This decision allows the Brazilian to Ferrari Felipe Massa to gain two places and the two Force Indias of Sutil and Paul di Resta to score their first points of the season. Sauber intends to appeal.
