Pérez and Latifi will start from the stands at Zandvoort
The role of vassal of Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) near Max Verstappen at the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix takes a big hit a few hours before the start in Zandvoort on Sunday September 5.
The Mexican will indeed have to start from the pit lane after having opted for a fourth internal combustion engine (ICE), while only three ICEs are tolerated by the regulations over a season. Formula 1.
Sergio Pérez will also benefit from several new elements: turbo, MGU-H and MGU-K, energy recovery and electronics control unit.
Nicholas latifi (Williams) will also start from the stands following his violent accident in Q2 (38 G collected) Saturday afternoon. The mechanics had to replace the Canadian's gearbox.
