The Court of Cassation today rejected the appeal filed by Pierre Bédier, making definitive his sentence of 18 months in prison and six years of ineligibility. Pierre Bédier loses his mandate as president of the general council of Yvelines. Without it being possible to measure the consequences for the French GP project of F1 in Flins, this conviction could not be worse. The main leader of the project, Bédier was already faced with criticism from Jean-Louis Borloo regarding respect for the environment and the absence of a promoter for the event.
