The Italian manufacturer of F1 has confirmed its choices regarding the tires selected for the third and fourth rounds of the 2017 season in Bahrain (April 16) and Russia (April 30).

On the Sakhir circuit, drivers will have super-soft, soft and medium tires at their disposal, with a set of soft tires and a set of medium tires to be used in the race.

Around the Olympic facilities in Sochi, ultra-soft, super-soft and soft compounds were chosen, with a set of super-soft compounds and one of soft tires to be used obligatorily in the race. Note that Pirelli opted for a more offensive selection in Russia than in 2016, where medium, soft and super-soft tires were selected.

Finally, remember that for the first five events of the season, the distribution of the thirteen sets of tires will be identical for all the drivers: seven of the softest compound, two of the hardest compound and four for the last choice made by Pirelli.
