Pirelli, sole manufacturer of F1, revealed the compounds selected for the two Belgian and Japanese rounds (August 27 and October 8). On the Spa-Francorchamps track, the Italian structure will bring its softest tires, with the ultra-soft, super-soft and soft.
A more conservative choice for the event on the Suzuka circuit, where the super-soft, soft and medium tires were chosen by the Milanese firm. During each Grand Prix, drivers must use a set of the softest tires in Q3 (ultra-soft in Belgium and super-soft in Japan). The super-soft and soft compounds in Belgium, and the soft and medium compounds in Japan, must be available for the race.
