After completing his last driving session with Mercedes, Ferrari et Red Bull in Abu Dhabi after the Grand Prix contested on the Yas Marina Circuit last weekend, Pirelli is fully focused on putting its 2017 tires into production for winter testing.
The process is scheduled to begin at the end of December – beginning of January in Turkey, where tooling modifications will be necessary due to the new dimensions of the 2017 tires (25% wider).
Pirelli must also adapt its logistics with modified transport and storage capacities.
