In Monaco, most top team drivers fear Q1, the first phase of the qualifying session for the Monaco Grand Prix. Indeed, 24 cars, including 6 single-seaters slower than the others (those from the Lotus, Virgin and HRT teams), will take their place in Q1 on this short and narrow circuit. Jarno Trulli (Lotus Racing) wants to be reassuring and does not understand that such a commotion can persist.

« It?s Monaco, it?s always difficult and the traffic will be as bad as usual, says the Italian to autosport.com. But I don't see a big problem. There are cars much faster than us but the session lasts 20 minutes. The top teams, who are complaining, will only need one lap to stay ahead of us. I would be angry if someone came to complain after qualifying. They had a lot of time to think about doing something, and they came here with no solution. So no one should complain. »
