Jenson Button only made the 14th and final time (Vitantonio Liuzzi having crashed) of the second phase of the qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix. He is accompanied by Kamui Kobayashi (11th), Jaime Alguersuari (12th), Romain Grosjean (13th) and therefore Tonio Liuzzi.
It was Nico Rosberg who set the best time in Q2 in 1'20"368.
