The FIA has announced the removal of the first DRS zone from the circuit. It was originally located on the pit straight. The single-seaters of Formula 1 will only have two detection zones during their passage on the track.
A Spanish journalist also revealed that the exit from turn 7 is also modified. The gravel on the side is a little further forward on the vibrator, which will now prevent drivers from exceeding the limits of the circuit.
