Renault F1 becomes Renault Sport F1

It?s now official. Renault, which resold its remaining shares of the team to the Lotus Group, will rename its factory Viruses-Châtillon “Renault Sport F1 » in place of Renault F1.

However, Renault Sport Technologies and Renault Sport F1 are two different branches. Renault Sport F1 will now focus exclusively on the creation of F1 engines, while Renault Sport Technologies will continue to work on the brand's other sporting branches, including the sale of touring cars.
