Jean-François Caubet, new general director of Renault F1 Team, wished to congratulate Fernando Alonso for his fine third place during the Singapore Grand Prix, half-heartedly acknowledging, at the microphone of TF1, that the world champion would race his last GPs with the diamond team.
« Fernando will always be part of the Renault family, we will miss him a lot and we will really miss him but he will miss us too! He is truly a great champion. »
