The hearings did not last very long in the context of the "Renault affair", concerning the intentional crash of Nelson Piquet Jr at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2008. All those concerned were present, with the exception of Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds, who are no longer with Renault F1 Team. After listening to everyone's arguments, the members of the FIA World Council will deliberate, in order to deliver their verdict in the afternoon.
