Renault powers RB until 2012

The French manufacturer, which will power the Lotus single-seaters in 2011, has just announced at the same time the renewal of the contract which binds it with Red Bull as an engine manufacturer. The Taureau Rouge single-seaters will be powered by the Losange engine in 2011 and 2012. Renault is delighted to announce the extension of its collaboration with Red Bull Racing and the arrival of a new client, 1Malaysia Racing Team (UK) Ltd », indicated Bernard Rey, President of Renault Sport.

« These agreements mean that from 2011, Renault will supply three teams? that is to say 25% of the cars on the field. We continue to firmly believe in the benefits of our presence in F1. It positions Renault as a technological leader and increases the visibility of our brand around the world. », added Bernard Rey.

Note that the Renault logo will be added to the nose of the single-seaters as well as to the drivers' helmets.
