Renault Sport F1 Team has announced the arrival of Matthew Harman as Deputy Director of Design effective September 1st. This former head of powertrain integration and transmission design at Mercedes-AMG F1 will work alongside Martin Tolliday to work on the harmonious integration between the powertrain, transmission and chassis.

“Over the last three years, Bob Bell has fully invested in strengthening the technical team of our team, comments Cyril Abiteboul, the general director of Renault Sport Racing. We are delighted to attract someone of Matthew's caliber to allow the team to anticipate the design of the next cars, an essential asset that we have lacked since the acquisition of the team. This will be a crucial asset at a time when the discipline is about to experience a major upheaval with many changes planned for 2021.”
