The French pilot Romain Grosjean was the victim of a terrible accident at the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Her Haas was hit on the side then crashed into the rail in front. The car split in two and the fuel tank exploded. Romain Grosjean was quickly seen standing in the medical car, shocked, but apparently relatively unharmed. He nevertheless left to carry out examinations.
The race was immediately stopped. The completely destroyed rail must be repaired.
