The Grand Prix soap opera F1 in the streets of Rome continues and seems to have no end. While the city's mayor announced he had a contract several months ago, the feasibility of this race seems increasingly minimal. This week, the Italian newspaper La Repubblica claims that Bernie Ecclestone dampened the hopes of Rome by writing to the mayor his wish to have only one Grand Prix per country. Ferrari also supported this argument a few weeks ago.
