Nico Rosberg recently announced that if the results did not live up to his hopes this year, he would leave home. Williams at the end of his contract, i.e. after the last Grand Prix of the season.
Asked today on the subject, Frank Williams said he was fully aware that his team must be competitive to keep the young German.
“His departure would be a big loss for us, Nico is a very good driver, but it is a possibility that I have actually considered. All I can tell you is that we will do everything possible so that he can have a good car, and the tests carried out this winter are quite promising in that sense. Personally, I would do anything to convince him to stay, if he wants to. »
