Russell lined up by Mercedes… at the Pirelli tests in Hungary
The information could have had the effect of a bomb. Mercedes confirms George Russell this Monday, August 2… with a view to testing Pirelli version 2022 tires (18 inches) on the Hungaroring circuit (Hungary).

The Briton will return to the Etoile brand for the first time since his notable participation in the Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain in December 2020. The current resident of the team Williams scored his first points of the season in Hungary thanks to an eighth place.
During his test day, scheduled for Tuesday August 3, George Russell will find two other teams on the track: Ferrari et McLaren. Frenchman Théo Pourchaire will discover the Alfa Romeo C41 the next day.
