Sam Michael concedes that the two GPs of Spain and Monaco a week apart require perilous organization. “ This presents logistical challenges for the operational group and for the engineers », comments the technical director of Williams.
« Any modifications to the single-seaters based on data collected in Barcelona must be carried out quickly », adds Sam Michael. “ So it's a very busy week. Since Monaco is a circuit with little grip, we usually reduce understeer by improving traction to achieve good lap times. »
