Toro Rosso confirmed that Sean Gelael will drive the STR12 Carlos Sainz Jr this Friday in EL1 of the Singapore GP.
The Faenza stable, likely to move from engine manufacturer Renault to Honda in 2018, could also see the Spaniard soon leave the team to join Renault even if Jolyon Palmer denied speculation on a replacement from the Malaysian GP in Sepang (October 1).
