Almost forty years ago to the day, on April 21, 1985, Ayrton Senna won his first Grand Prix of Formula 1, in his Lotus 97T, on the Estoril circuit in appalling conditions in front of Michele Alboreto and Patrick Tambay. Forty years later, and more than thirty years after the death of "Magic Senna", the tributes are still pouring in and even go beyond the boundaries of motorsport.
This Wednesday, Estoril Praia football club unveiled a special jersey in tribute to the late Brazilian driver. A simple and effective jersey, featuring the three iconic green, yellow, and blue colors of Ayrton Senna's helmet on a black background, without a sponsor. The equipment manufacturer Kappa even had the elegance to put its logo in black to make the three horizontal stripes stand out as much as possible.
Officially or 4.º equipment for this era! 🟢🟡🔵

This tribute jersey will be worn in Estoril Praia's next match, this April 19th against SC Braga, part of the 30th matchday of the Portuguese championship. The club has unfortunately announced that this special jersey will only be worn in official competitions and will not be commercially available, at least not for now.
