Ayrton Senna was voted best driver in the history of the Formula 1, following a vote of 217 drivers, to be published in Autosport magazine. Ayrton Senna, three-time world champion, is ahead Michael Schumacher, Juan Manuel Fangio and the French Alain Prost. Fernando Alonso points in 9th position, Lewis Hamilton 17th, Kimi Räikkönen 22nd, Sebastian Vettel 26th, Jenson Button 30th, Jacky Ickx 40th. The French François Cevert and Jean Behra are 29th and 38th.
