After the demonstration carried out last weekend in Monza by Jean Alesi, at the wheel of a car F2 development, the 18″ tires are in action from this Thursday on the Paul Ricard track in Var.
Russian Sergey Sirotkin and Renault F1 Team were requisitioned for the occasion, the Losange stable being one of the three voluntary formations to lead the development of these new tires with Mercedes et McLaren.
The car used is based on a 2018 single-seater, specially modified for these tests, to allow this new size to be fitted.
