Placed under investigation for incorrect use of his DRS in Baku, Sergio Pérez (Force India) will ultimately not be sanctioned by the race stewards.
The latter considered that, due to a problem in the automatic activation system of the movable rear wing, the instructions given to the driver by his team to manually initiate the DRS could have led to incorrect activation on two occasions.
Furthermore, no car was overtaken during these two procedures, an element also highlighted by the race stewards.
