The Mercedes de Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas dominated the second part of qualifying for the British Grand Prix, the Briton completing a lap in 1'27″893. Note that the Finn from the star brand, who will be penalized by five places on the grid tomorrow after a gearbox change, will start on soft tires, unlike his rivals.
Both Ferrari de Hag and Räikkönen follow in the Q2 standings ahead of Hulkenberg (Renault), Verstappen (Red Bull), Or with (Force India), Pérez (Force India), Grosjean (Haas) and Vandoorne (McLaren) who beats his teammate for the first time this year Fernando Alonso in the exercise.
