The first free practice session for the British Grand Prix took place from 11 a.m. and featured the two best teams at the start of the season. Sebastian Vettel, who was really attacking to set the best time, obtained the best time of the session (1:19??400). He is ahead of his teammate Mark Webber and the two Brawn GPs of Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
