After reaching an agreement with Bernie Ecclestone for the holding of the British Grand Prix in 2010, the GP organizers were able to measure the enthusiasm surrounding the event with a record ticket sale during the first twenty-four hours. Thus, 6500 tickets were sold for the GP on July 11, already bringing in 1,1 million euros.
