Singapore – Q1: Verstappen fastest, Ocon and Ricciardo trapped

On an increasingly fast, drying track, all the drivers completed numerous laps on the Marina Bay circuit. During Q1, it was Max Verstappen who set the best time at the end of the session, in 1'53"057, ahead of Lewis Hamilton et Charles Leclerc. We find both Ferrari, both Red Bull and both Mercedes in the top 6.

Behind it is Esteban Ocon who carried out the very bad operation. On a Alpine although performing well on Friday, the Norman was unable to escape from Q1 (18th), complaining of brakes that were far too cold.
