The SREC (kinetic energy recovery system will make its return in Formula 1 in 2011. More efficient than the various 2009 models, it will allow better redistribution of energy and will be much less costly for the stables. Thus, Italia Racing reveals that the Italian company Magneti Marelli will offer an SREC at a million dollars, or 755 euros, an affordable price compared to the development costs of the SREC in 000. The teams Red Bull, Ferrari, Renault et Toro Rosso would be targeted.
