Robert Kubica (Renault) finally changed tires, less than ten laps from the finish of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix! The Pole came out in fifth position, ahead of Vitaly Petrov (Renaul). Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), who is riding behind the Russian, sees the title slip away since he is only seventh, three places too far to secure the title of 2010 World Champion.
Robert Kubica, when leaving the pits, crossed the white lines delimiting the track but could not be penalized since he returned to the pitlane clearance path before re-entering the track.
