Toro Rosso looks at the F-duct

Toro Rosso finally changed its mind and is also working on an F-duct project, a system allowing a flow of air to rush under the hull of the car and come out at the rear wing to eliminate part of the aerodynamic downforce in a straight line. Sébastien Buemi however, told AUTOhebdo.fr that the Faenza team does not consider this project a priority.

« Not all personnel in the aerodynamic department have been assigned to this project, the Swiss pilot tells us. Not all efforts are focused on the F-duct. We continue to work on other developments. We know how the F-duct works. We now need to understand how to use it optimally. »
