It's now official: Liam Lawson is already leaving Red Bull, to return to Racing Bulls, the team with which he competed in 11 Grands Prix in 2023 and 2024. He is replaced by Yuki tsunoda, who finally gets the opportunity he dreamed of so much.
Laurent Mekies, director of Racing Bulls: “We are extremely proud that Yuki is securing his well-deserved place at Red Bull! His progress over the last year, and more recently since the start of 2025, has been nothing short of sensational. On a personal and collective level, this is a huge privilege for all of us, Faenza and in Milton Keynes, to have witnessed these advances."
“Yuki’s energy and positivity lit up every corner of our factories and garage, and he will always be a Racing Bull! We wish him all the success he deserves at ORBR. Everyone here at VCARB is looking forward to working hard with Liam to provide him with the best possible environment so he can shine in our car and express all the talent we know he possesses. He fitted in perfectly last year, and we look forward to pushing ourselves and growing as a team. With Isack already starting very strongly with us, we know we have a strong young duo.”
