The rain cleared above the Istanbul circuit (Turkey) just in time for the drivers to complete one last lap at the end of Q1. All the competitors improved their times or almost but the hierarchy returned to normal.
The Haas are eliminated, just like the Williams and l'Alpha Tauri by Daniil Kvyat. THE Renault et Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) can continue their journey in Q2, while the track should soon allow the use of intermediate tires. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) signed the best time.
UPDATE : All times achieved at the end of Q1 under yellow flag after the exit of Nicholas latifi and Daniil Kvyat are placed under investigation by the commissioners. They will analyze the times after this session.
