May 1, 2019 will mark the sad twenty-fifth anniversary of the disappearance of Ayrton Senna, who died after an accident at the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola. As part of the various tributes paid to the triple Brazilian world champion, icon of McLaren, his niece Paula Senna Lalli created a bronze bust which will be given to Pope Francis at the Vatican.

Entitled “My Ayrton”, the sculpture saw its creation and production process begin in 2016, when the pilot’s mother, Neyde Senna, passed the order to her granddaughter.
