A special helmet for Max Verstappen at the Japanese Grand Prix

A wind of spring is blowing over Japan: the cherry trees are in bloom as the fine weather returns and Max Verstappen pays tribute to them on the sidelines of the Grand Prix at Suzuka, the third meeting of the year Formula 1The Dutchman chose to bring a special helmet to the Japanese circuit, where Red Bull is preparing to celebrate the final year of its collaboration with Honda.

Honda initially withdrew in 2021, before returning in 2023 in partnership with RBPT. At the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, the Austrian team paid tribute to its departing partner with a white and red livery, reflecting the colors of the Japanese flag.

Four years later, it is in the Land of the Rising Sun that a new tribute should take place. The Austrians are reportedly about to unveil the details of their livery in the coming hours, which should once again be red and white according to the first elements published on social networks. There is no doubt that Max Verstappen's white helmet, decorated with flowering trees at the back, will blend perfectly with his car to say goodbye in the best possible way to the engine manufacturer who will be joining Aston Martin next year.
