Democratized for some time in F1, Fan Festivals seem to be a real success. Organized in Marseille this year, alongside the return of the French Grand Prix to Paul Ricard, the event should head to new destinations next year.

“Right now we are looking at an expanded schedule of six or seven events, specifies Sean Bratches, commercial director of Liberty Media. We are aiming for a second festival in Shanghai, because like the United States, we see great potential for F1 in China.

This will also follow our 1000th race, which will provide even greater resonance. Beyond that, we're looking to travel to Tokyo and Milan, as well as Germany and the US, although locations are yet to be confirmed. We are also exploring two other destinations. »

The American official also underlines that the two-day format seems the most appropriate, based on the ratio of fan engagement/availability of personalities from the world of F1. Miami will host the last Festival of the year this weekend, before perhaps hosting a world championship event in the near future.
